Amanda & Dylan // Three Blue Ducks, Rosebery Wedding

Bride and Groom standing against white brick wall

When it came to planning their wedding, Amanda and Dylan knew they wanted something low-key but high quality. Three Blue Ducks at Rosebery fit the bill perfectly. The rustic warehouse vibe combined with generous home-style cooking, was exactly the feel and the feed they were after for their celebration.

Then came vendors. Kimberley of The Marmalade Sky styled the place to perfection, Red Soda Band provided the tunes and Studio Something captured every aspect of the day beautifully.

For their ceremony Amanda and Dylan wanted to match the low fuss, maximum feels brief they’d set for the rest of their day. We focused on telling their story, acknowledging the people who had played an important role in encouraging and supporting their relationship (mainly their parents) and even gave a nod to their love of hip-hop music with some wise words from the poet Drake.

“Live without pretending. Love without depending. Listen without defending. Speak without offending.”

DRAKE

The fact that Dylan was a little late to the ceremony (his Uber driver took him to Three Blue Ducks at Bronte) meant that he also got to have a grand entrance to the applause of all guests who were patiently waiting (as was Amanda inside). It was a perfectly unplanned icebreaker that set the tone for a joyous celebration.
