Hi there, I’m Andrea – a fully authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant from Sydney, where I live with my husband, two kids and our cat.

My celebrant journey began in 2012 when I was inspired to complete my celebrant studies while on maternity leave. I had enjoyed my career in marketing but knew I wanted something where I could flex my creative muscle and make a difference in people’s lives. I became registered in 2013 and have been marrying couples all over Sydney ever since.

I take a modern approach to crafting ceremonies. I work with couples to help them define their vision and focus on their values to create a ceremony that is a true reflection of them and their relationship.

My style is relaxed, genuine and heartfelt. I’m not there to entertain, but to facilitate a really amazing moment between you and your lover. My ceremonies have been described as warm, friendly and engaging, and my personality as calm, caring and considered.

What I love most about being a celebrant is being able to exceed a couple’s expectations of what their marriage ceremony can be. By turning what could be a mere formality into a highlight of their day is incredibly rewarding.

As well as bespoke marriage ceremonies, I offer legals-only, elopement, renewal of vow and baby naming ceremonies. And in 2019 I launched Weekday Wedded Bliss after noticing the trend of couples not wanting a “wedding” but still wanting something a little more special than getting married at the registry office.

While I’m based in southern Sydney, I travel all over for ceremonies – the Southern Highlands, Blue Mountains, South Coast, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and beyond.

When I’m not marrying couples I love doing yoga, reading, cooking, gardening and dancing around the kitchen with my kids. My favourite place to be is the ocean, or right by it covered in suncream, sand and preferably with a drink in my hand.

If it sounds like I could be ‘the one’ for you, get in touch and we can start having a chat about your big day.

Whether it’s your first or your final time, a backyard BBQ or an extravaganza of organza, I will provide all the information, inspiration, guidance and support you need to feel confident heading into your wedding day and deliver a ceremony that is authentically you.

Save time, money and stress. Do it your way. Wed on a weekday!

I run a business helping couples do exactly this. I call it Weekday Wedded Bliss.

A great alternative to getting married at the registry office. Just me, the two of you and two witnesses. These ceremonies take place over a table – house/cafe/desk and it all takes around 5-10 minutes.
