From the moment I first met Jancinta and Pirow, we just clicked. They knew exactly what they wanted – a simple and romantic ceremony with lots of personal touches and a nod to tradition. I got it straight away.
They really made my job very easy. As they told me about how they met, what made them fall in love with each other and their ideas for the ceremony, their enthusiasm was infectious and I couldn’t wait to get started.
Set at the stunning Summerlees Estate in the Southern Highlands, everything about the ceremony was full of understated rustic charm. Following three gorgeous flower girls, Jacinta made her entrance to an acoustic version of Ho Hey by The Lumineers. I love watching the Groom’s expression as they first see their Bride, and Pirow didn’t let me down. He was grinning from ear to ear.
Jacinta and Pirow wrote their own vows and asked their most newly married friends to do a reading together. This is such a lovely idea which I haven’t come across before, but which I am going to steal to suggest to other couples stuck on who to choose for a reading. They read from The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams fitting perfectly with the overall theme of old-school charm and romance.
